Experts
Any idea what is the cause of "UltranCell_RncNotAbleToScheduleSibs" alarm causing the UCell not to cater traffic. Done software reset through NOC and hardware on nodeB side.

Re: UltranCell_RncNotAbleToScheduleSibs Alarm
Hi,
you have exceeded SIB11 capacity, now decrease number of neighbors -> just delete unnecessary ADJC (never mind if interfreq, intrafreq or interrat), cell will work again.
Best regards

Re: UltranCell_RncNotAbleToScheduleSibs Alarm
Hi, I've had this problem also, and yes it's because you have exceeded number of neighbor. Need to delete some neighbor.
This is taken from ALEX :
Alarm Cause |
Description |
Fault Reason |
Fault Location |
Impact |
A system information scheduling failure due to incorrect sib*RepPeriod or sib*StartPos setting in the Sid object. |
The Radio Network Controller (RNC) is not able to schedule sending of System Information Blocks (SIBs) to the User Equipment (UE). |
Configuration fault. |
UtranCell |
The RNC disables the cell, and traffic ceases. The RNC automatically re-enables the cell and, if the fault is still present, the alarm is reissued. |
The amount of information to be sent in SIB11 exceeds the SIB size limit as a result of automatic addition of adjacent cells, or parameter reconfiguration in the RNC. |
