RRC REJECTED (NODEBRESUNAVAIL) - Huawei

Guys,

I have a issue with one cel, wich is rejecting CS user for NodeBResunavail. I checked CPU Load and its 70 - 80 % @ peak hours, but its not alarmed yet. This rejecting could be for other causes?

If the other cells are working OK check allocation of BB resource. if the other cells are not working then reset the NodeB, still no then check the config. Is the NodeB connected by Ethernet or E1? How many calls are on the cell? DSP UCELLCHK and post.

Check if you have CE Congestion for RRC/RAB, Secondly give a rest to NodeB sometimes it gives errors when it hangs in some state.

Flow control is enabled?

Check NBAP load.

CNBAP Load = ∑ NodeB,all cell [(VS.IUB.AttRLSetup+VS.IUB.AttRLAdd + VS.IUB.AttRLRecfg*2)*1.7]/SP*60

where {SP} is the measurement period (unit: minute)

2)CNBAP Capacity:-
1 WBBP - 60 CNBAP/s
2 WBBP - 120 CNBAP/s
3 WBBP - 170 CNBAP/s
4 WBBP - 170 CNBAP/s
3 WBBP + UTRP - 180 CNBAP/s
4 WBBP + UTRP - 240 CNBAP/s

CNBAP Utilization = CNBAP Load /CNBAP Capacity
if CNBAP Load is high then Add WBBP board to overcome.
