3G ping delays or round trip time (RTT)

Dear Members,

I am looking into ping delays or RTT for 3G, I know there are a group of elements that will affect this delay time, it would be great if you can share your experiences.
I have collected some field ping samples for sites like google, facebook, youtube and the values on average came close to 220ms, is that normal or should be less, noting that we use HSUPA (2ms disabled).
