use of advanced data mining and machine leaning techniques to guide Root Cause Analys

hi all,

want to understand from the RNO community and validate the value of using advanced data mining and machine learning techniques for problems like:

For example: Call drop rate - using a casuality data mining engine which would examine call drop KPI against thousands of KPIs and give you an influence score againts thousands of other KPIs, the higher the score the higher the influence to these KPIs when Call Drop rate goes up.

The same could well be achieved for parameter changes.

Just want to see if there if such a use case is already covered by some RNO tools out there?
