    Default SCTP LINK CONGESTION

    I have STCP LINK CONGESTION in the HUAWEI RNC I need confirm some paremeters to find the problem.
    The MTU in SCTP configuration is 800, can this cause SCTP Congestion?

    Configuration RNC ETH PORT

    Subrack No. = 4
    Subrack name = EPS_UO
    Slot No. = 27
    Port No. = 0
    Board type. = GOUa
    Port type = <NULL>
    Auto negotiation = DISABLE
    Port speed = <NULL>
    MTU[Byte] = 1500

    Configuration RNC SCTP LINK
    MTU value = 800

    CONFIGURATION ETH PORT NODE B

    RETCODE = 0 Operation succeeded.

    List Ethernet Port Configuration
    --------------------------------
    Cabinet No. = 0
    Subrack No. = 0
    Slot No. = 7
    Subboard Type = Base Board
    Port No. = 0
    Maximum Transmission Unit(byte) = 1500
    Speed = 100M
    Duplex = Full Duplex
    ARP Proxy = Enable

    RNC侧打开MCJD开关后,当RNC向Nodeb连续发送两个大于500字节的大包时,Nodeb SCTP模块的接收缓冲区只能接收一个包并回ACK,另外一个包将被丢掉,导致RNC侧反复重发该包引起发送缓冲区拥塞,上报SCTP链路拥塞。此问题是NB的软件bug导致。

    Hello
    in most cases it could be transmission problem
    check transmission reliability

    There was this issue that we faced once due to mismatched MTU sizes.It was very weird.We were able to ping to the site but was not able to download or browse.Normally you can customize packet sizes & try for several times to see whether this is the issue.
