I'm a little bit confused about the Nokia Netact software. I know it can be used for Link planning, Optimisation, Cell planning and so on! But is it an OSS system also?

And those it have reporting tools for Performance management?

Last question is: the Netact on this forum, those it contain all these facilities!

Netact version 6. has multiradio planner, optimizing module , rollout module and many other modules integrated into it.

Netact OSS V 3.1 is separate software, for OMC.

about performance management, that task depends on what you are actually trying to achieve,
if you are saying live traffic data analysis,
u can take the **** from net act oss and import into Netact planner, to generate the plot.
how ever for parameters analysis you can perform in netact planner, but when it comes update these parameters , then you need to generate XML and update them on OSS,
or you can also manually edit the XML with netact Editor.

netact on this forum is planner tool.
you can simply find the difference by the version number
OSS is around 3.1 and planner is heading for 6.1 i believe.
