    Hi,

Yes I'm looking for a solution because I have one site with 3 sectors, each sector have 4 UMTS carriers and I have drop calls just on sector one and most of causes are : Transition to a DCH connection has been initiated it can not be completed. (should I change some parameters like interrate, minrate ... hsifls?)

    Regards,
    jason

    Hi jason182,

You may try Agileto tool (search for Agileto GOLD edition in Google) which is free of charge in order to process GPEH traces, too (module 4.2). Please have a look into Agileto help in order to know which type of the parameters you will need to record in order to minimize the size of the resulted traces. The GPEH traces can be activated at cells level, but I reccommend you to activate @ one RNC level in order to generate the full neighbors analysis optimisation results (delete/add/change priority) after processing the traces with Agileto. I hope this will help you.

    Hi electron,

I disagree with your previous message as far as this is not true. I re-confirm that Agileto is able to process the GPEH traces and here below it is an extract from the help regarding the support for GPEH:

"-> The Call Traces (*.tab/*.xml) files should be a set of files collection recorded by the mobile operator (internal tracing) for the purpose of network (neighboring) optimization. These type of file(s) have been generic called at the beginning of this Detailed User Guide as the File #3 (see chapter “Before you start”). Up to the 3G vendor equipment they may be provided in different formats and they may collect specific information during the collection time.

For example, in case of E******* 3G vendor equipment, the call traces collected are so called GPEH traces and they should record the following (RNC internal) events:
    · INTERNAL_SOFT_HANDOVER_EXECUTION
    · INTERNAL_SOHO_DS_MISSING_NEIGHBOUR
    · INTERNAL_IFHO_REPORT_RECEPTION
    · INTERNAL_IRAT_HO_CC_EXECUTION

For Alcatel-Lucent 3G vendor equipment, the call traces collected are so called CTN and they should use the Neighbors Optimisation template available..."
