My friend from India is going to join GTC Taiwan for LTE network in Taiwan mobile. He is going for 5000USD all inclusive. Is it a good deal. How about the job security?How is the country?
How much will be the accommodation cost? Please let me know. Thanks

My Friend ...Taiwan is very good country...very safe...but 5000 all inc is very less rate for LTE.
people are getting 8000-10000 $ all inc for LTE radio in Taiwan.

accommodation cost depend on area...but nearby Taiwan Mobile office ,he can get studio apartment at around 20-22,000 NTD (650-800$)...food is cheap here.

$5000? No way for expat. Yeah, local RF get that price.
His others colleague in the same project get a lots more than this figure.

and i heard this GxC have tax complication with foreign engineer.
tax rate can be as high as 20%. Think twice.

Taiwan:-
Food nice, pay good(not 5k ya), stress level highest with high workload.
Lots of place for shopping...
