    Hi jbada,

I assume that you work for either an operator or a vendor (don't think anybody plan just for fun
As such you'll have access to a planning tool. Any of the tools on the market are able to do the PCI planning, some better than others. If you don't have a planning tool, you should search the forum for one, I personally recommend Atoll.
PCI planning takes in account the coverage areas, so it's better to do it with a planning tool, than using a MI or excel tool.

    The PCI Groups are
    GROUP1 – 0 to 119, Reserve (120 - 125)
    GROUP2 – 126 to 245, Reserve (246 - 251)
    GROUP3 – 252 to 371, Reserve (372 - 377)
    GROUP4 – 378 to 497, Reserve (498 - 503)
Intersite distance between two groups 1.8 miles
