I still receive the same message when i start the test.
That the database files have been corrupted.

I cannot find the files to delete. There are only:
RMCPROJ.CIHS
RMCPROJ.ckn
RMCPROJ.LIC

i entered the keys but i cannot start a test. update is done correctly

By default "PM FASTrack PMP v8" is configured to run in compatibility mode as a "Win XP SP 3" app. yow have to remove the compatibility mode & run as Aministrator.
Or disable completely the Program Compatibility Assistant for Windows 7 (services.msc->Compatibility Assistant service->Right Click->Stop).

Dear Cancuerno How could i update to v8006 while i disconnected the internet? did you mean that i should install v8006 over v8002(after entering the site key) or install v8002 and after i connect the internet to update it to v8006??

Dear esam612, download both versions .2 & .6. Install v.2 then update to v.6. Go to the "PM FASTrack PMP v8" installation dir & copy app_config.xml to a safe place. Let the app update the database then disconnect the Internet & copy back the app_config.xml file to the "PM FASTrack PMP v8" installation dir & run the app. You would be running v.6 with an updated db. If you forget for some reason to turn off the Internet to run the prog, just disconnect the Internet and copy back the app_config.xml file to the "PM FASTrack PMP v8" installation dir.

This is how it worked to me:

1)You disable internet connection
2)You install version 8.0.0.2
3)You install version 8.0.0.6
4)You run program (internet connection is still disabled)
5)You choose activate and insert the word MANUAL in Serial Number
6)You get a site code and you post it here or you use the ckInfo+ as described in the first post
7)You backup file app_config.xml from installation folder
8)You enable internet connection
9)You update the database and BEFORE the program restarts (LAUNCH button) you disable the internet connection
10)In the destination folder you rename app_config.xml (for example as app_config2.xml)
11)You copy in the destination folder the backed up app_config.xml (step 7)
12)You change the compatibility mode to windows 7 and the program should run as administrator (right click in .exe file and then properties)
13)You run the program and everything is ok (you have to be offline)

For people who have downloaded ckInfo+, you create a txt file and you save it as fast.ckInfo .The script you need in the file is:

Things I didn't manage to do:
1) Change the database update date written in Help->About menu. When I follow the instructions Cancuerno wrote my database corrupts and I have to restore app_config.xml.
When I try it, the date I can see is 9/22/2013 and not 9/21/2013.
2) I cannot firewall PM FASTrack from windows firewall because when the program runs, it creates subprocesses called CKS***.tmp (different every time) which try to update the database.

If anyone finds a solution to these please post. I also don't know what happens with future updates.
