What is difference between Leg and finger in cdma

What is difference between leg and finger in Cdma system?
is number of finger is equal to the number of user that are active in particular BTS?

Before bsc version up -gradation,When we used to execute the command DSP USERNUM it would show Leg and Finger but after up-graduation of BSC it only show Finger value.
why it happened?
Like
before up-gradation
DSP USERNUM BTSID=204;

Finger 4 Leg 2

After Upgradation

DSP USERNUM BTSID=204;
Finger 4
