Question about CPC and DCH/EUL Balancing
Hello experts,
Do you know or already used the CPC feature and or DCH/EUL Balancing feature?
Both are RBS features and we are testing here, I just would like to receive some feedback if these features are good or not and some after effects that can happen.
Also we found counters for DCH/EUL Balancing but not for CPC, is there some counter for CPC?
Thank you.

Re: Question about CPC and DCH/EUL Balancing
Continuous packet connectivity (CPC) allows uplink and downlink transmissions at regular intervals. CPC reduces the transmit power and thus prolongs the UE battery life because the UE does not have to monitor and transmit overhead channels in each TTl. The reduction in the transmit power also helps to increase the uplink capacity by decreasing the total interference. This improvement is significant when users such as VoIP users transmit data discontinuously.
The CPC feature consists of DTX-DTX, and HS-SCCH Less Operation.

Hi dadoba!
Please check the formula below:
Cell Traffic E-DCH with CPC = pmSumBestPsEulRabEstCpc/pmSamplesBestPsEulRabEstCpc.
The formula defines the traffic value (in Erlangs), aggregated on cell level, for E-DCH radio bearers with CPC activated.
It is calculated as the ratio between Accumulator counter and the Scan counter for E-DCH radio bearers.
