Do your network have smart phone like below?

Before my network have apple about 70% of all smart phone , but not like Samsung coming to #1....

It is will be suffering network with SCRI problem, too much signalling like Blackberry that can not control by Network. Have another country got problem due to high signalling storm from smartphone problem? How should we do to handle it?

1) Enable new state transition feature -> "fast dormancy" (follow 3GPP Release 8) ,is essential to stop phones to connected data all the time. But some phone not support. Normally some operator will buy service from vendor for testing every phone in network ,if phone not support we can put it in black list for fast dormancy.
2) Another some they trail with new channel like HS FACH or E-FACH that can get more throughput in FACH so no need to change from FACH to DCH....
