Hi All,
Is there anyone who could share something on how to use the diagnostic port for QPST on Android phones ( also for the latest i-phone would be very appreciated ).
Or maybe you could suggest me a previous post that I'm not able to find through search...

do you need QPST OR How to use QPST?
all you need just Install QPST and the connect your Android Phone then Open QPST Configuration
From Ports Tab click Add New Port
-Uncheck "Show serial and USB........" and Some COM will appear
-then choose your device Com and click Ok
-you will see your device in Ports Tab "If not choose another com"
-If your phone showen on port tab from Start client Mnew Choose service Programming.
-a new window for programing your phone and do what you need Like" IMSI ,......."

to be clearer my android phone does not appear as a modem and I can find it on a com port

First of all You must set Your android devices to diagnostic mode
For HTC ##3432 and click Call
then your device driver must be installed
Then Uncheck "Show serial and USB........" and Some COM will appear and continue

The code for Android phones is ##DIAG or ##3424

May be your ROM isn't the orginal
Try ADD # After the code
Try ##DIAG# or ##3424#

I think so...How could I recognize the ROM Type ? If it is original or not ?
