Verifying Cell Design from the List submitted by NSN RF:
    –Physical Check (Antenna Orientation etc)
    –ARFCN (BCCH)
    –BSIC (NCC+BCC)
    –Cell ID
    –LAC/RAC
    –HSN_1 & HSN_2
    –Frequencies configured on each sector

    In case of any Issue:
    –Contact CMT Person to check/resolve.

    •Functionality Testing Swap Site
    Evaluating TRXs on Each Sector
–Try to establish two calls on each TRX
▪It’ll help us to verify the Hardware and to identify Low Power TRXs.

    In case of any Issue:
–Contact directly the TI person on the field and the CM person responsible for Site creation during that night.

    •Functionality Testing Swap Site
    Sector Swap (Full/partial) Identification

–Verify the Orientation/Azimuth of the Site.

–If possible, try to take to drive around the site in open band normal mode(Idle Mode and Dedicated Mode). This will help you identify whether the sector is serving in its perspective location or not.
–If taking a drive around the site is not possible, try going in the direction of every sector for like 500m to 1 km to ensure it’s serving in it perspective location.

–Keep an eye on CGI (especially Cell ID) in GSM Current Channel Window in TEMS.
–Cross Feeder Test should be down by checking the difference of Rxlev for each TRX under same Sector if difference is high à Drive Tester shall co-ordinate with the TI person on field to resolve the problem.

    •Detail Testing of Swap Site
•Make short calls with the call duration of 10 seconds after the call setup on each sector. (All TRX’s should be checked in this by making 5 Calls on each TRX).
•Cross Feeder Test should be down by checking the difference of Rxlev for each TRX under same Sector if difference is high à Drive Tester shall co-ordinate with the TI person on field to resolve the problem.
•After doing the 5 short calls on each TRX, EDGE/GPRS testing should be done at the same time.

•Then the drive tester should move to the next sector and do the short calls and then the EDGE/GPRS test, this procedure should be followed for all the sectors.

•The EDGE/GPRS testing should include to check PDP Context Activitation, Cell Reselection (GPRS-EDGE-GPRS) and RA update.
    •Detail Testing of Swap Site
•After doing the last sector, IntraSite Handovers can be checked by doing forced Handover between the intrasite cells. Both CCW and CW testing should be done (S1-S2-S3 , S3-S2-S1)

•The 1st tier InterSite neighbours will be checked in the end. If the road is not available a forced handover should be done. If the nearest site is far away and handover is not possible because of its weak Rxlevel then a comment should be put in the checklist

•The drive for Intersite HO should be done both in Idle and dedicated mode.

•After Doing the Activity, Please carefully fill the Checklist (attached below)& submit to the NSN RF Team.

    •Detail Testing of Swap Site

•The format for Checklist submission should be followed strictly.
    –Folder Name: SiteName_StepID_BSCID_Date
–There should be separate subfolders for
    ▪EDGE/GPRS Testing
    ▪IntraSite HO
    ▪InterSite HO
    ▪TRX Testing
    •Example Folder Structure.
