Actually my friend there are two things:
1) You need points to download files and then you can have by just adding/uplodaing files/replying to anyones queries.
2) Reputation can only be increased if someone likes your post and clicks the button on right side of the post that this post was helpful, But if you upload files and no one would votes that this post was helpful then your Reputation would remain same.

The only way to take reputation is sharing the useful documents from vendors such as Nokia, E*******, Alcatel...

Do you have any documents like those?
