Does Higher Number of frame slips (sfv) affect KPIs?

Hi everyone,

Does Higher Number of frame slips (sfv) on DIP affect KPIs and in what way? Also what are the causes of frame slips and what is the solution?

Dear Ejamhas,

You can try to co relate your DCR KPI with sfv, you should find a relation with Sudden or Other reason drops.

Thanks for the help Bro.. but how I could be sure that drops are due to frame slips... I mean can frame slips alone could cause drops when there are no ES or SES?

As far as I can recall, it will appear along with UAS. Pick a site where you are seeing SLIP and relate it to your DCR and HSR KPI. I am sure you will find some link.

welcome brother. Pls fwd such issues to Transmission team, they will take necessary action to fix this.

Yes, i have experience high SF on DIP of ATER (link between TRC - BSC) and impact to increment CDR (oth) and congestion on almost of cells under its BSC.
than KPI back to normal after fix transmission on ATER.

It also affect CSR when DIP for HSL(MTL) contain SFv
