I start this Thread ,because some member needs this tool.
but alcatel-lucent is rigorous.so this is only for our forum members.
do not spread to all over the world .

REQUIREMENTS

Software Requirements

- operating system: 
    Windows 2000, Windows XP - supported dirrectly
        Windows NT with ServicePack 6 installed

- other software: 
    Microsoft Office Access 2003
    Microsoft Excel 2003
        Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8


INSTALLATION

In order to install the program run 
"PRC Generator_V3.10_B620_setup.exe" file.

9955 PRC Generator includes an easy-to-use Wizard that 
directs you through the install procedure using on-screen prompts.

There are different installations possible:

- If this version (V3.10) is not already installed:


    - Complete: installs the program in folder 
                    C:\Program Files\Alcatel-Lucent\PRC_Generator V3.10
            (previous installations are not deleted)

    - Custom: gives the user the possibility to install 
          the program in a selected folder.

- If there is already V3.10 installed:

    - Modify: if the files OMC_360.mdb or PRC_Generator.mde 
          are missing in the installation folder, 
          it recreates them like in a normal installation

    - Repair: if the files OMC_360.mdb or PRC_Generator.mde 
          are missing in the installation folder, 
          it recreates them like in a normal installation

    - Remove: uninstalls the program

Select the type of installation you want to install and follow 
the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

PARALLEL INSTALLATIONS

PRC Generator V3.10 B620 can be installed and used in parallel with 
the previous version of the tool: PRC Generator V3.8 B481, PRC Generator V3.8 B512.

This parallel installation is possible as long as the target folder 
for installation is different for the two versions.
In case the "Complete" option is selected during the installation,
these 2 versions will be installed by default in separate folders, 
with names corresponding to each version.

Moreover, the 2 versions of the PRC Generator can be independently 
uninstalled.

PLANNING TOOLS VERSIONS SUPPORT

PRC Generator V3.10 B620 can be used as the interface to the Alcatel-Lucent
OMC_R for the following versions of the Alcatel-Lucent Radio Network Planning Tool:
- 955 V5.3:
    - this version of the planning tool can be used for the following
      BSS releases: B6.2 and B7.2
    - this tool runs only on Windows NT4/Windows 2000

- 9955 V6:
    - V6.2, V6.2.1, V6.3: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8
    - V6.4: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1
    - V6.5: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4
    - V6.6: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4
    - V6.7: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4, B10 MR1, B10 MR2
    - V6.8: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4, B10 MR1, B10 MR2
        - V6.9: for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4, B10 MR1, B10 MR2, B11 MR1 Ed.01
        - V6.9.1 : for BSS releases B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4, B10 MR1, B10 MR2, B11 MR1 Ed.01, B11 MR1 Ed.02
    - V7.1.0 : for BSS release B6.2, B7.2, B8, B9 MR1, B9 MR4, B10 MR1, B10 MR2, B11 MR1 Ed.01, B11 MR1 Ed.02

Due to the fact that PRC Generator V3.10 covers in one version the support 
for all the BSS releases, some features of the PRC Generator are not fully 
supported by all the A9155/9155/9955 versions.

UNINSTALLING 

If you want to unistall the PRC Generator software, simply go to the 
Windows Control panel and use "Add/Remove Programs" to unistall. 
The OMC_360.mdb and PRC_Generator.mde files are deleted during 
uninstalling, but the folders are not.

btw is this version 3.10 compatible with 3.8 as well ? which means doing the same functions as 3.8, supporting scripts for 3.8 version ?

this is newest beta version.
PRC Generator V3.10 B620 can be installed and used in parallel with
the previous version of the tool: PRC Generator V3.8 B481, PRC Generator V3.8 B512.
