Problem Installing MCOM11.1
hi,
i'm having difficulties in installing MCOM11.1, with this message..

what should i do, i'm running on windows 7 32 bit.

if you have installed actix then that would be a problem..they are inconflict.

no,no,no,no,no,
no need to uninstall actix.
you need SQL server 2005 express.
If you have actix source file you can find in below address, if you have not download from web.
Actix source file\MSI\CDImage\ISSetupPrerequisites\Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express SP2
run SQLEXPR.EXE do not run the other exe file.
install that with default parameter...and finished. Open your MCOM

Yes you are right.It will run sometimes but if ever it will run there might be a problem with spotlight but if you are using only analyzer then no problem.

Hi striker,
No my friend ,they will use diffrent instances with SQLEXPRESS , if you failed to install both of them probably you made something wrong.
If there is problem I can solve that.

but have you tried your spotlight? yes i can install both but problem occur with my spotlight...can you test your spotlight if it works properly? if yes, then send me a procedure on how to do it. thanks

First I install sql express for MCOM then MCOM after that i install sql for actix then actix but it's not working properly. tell me a procedure on how to do it..maybe my procedure is wrong or maybe there must configuration for sql on how to do it.

unfortunately, i read your post a bit late..
i already uninstall actix
ok then, i try to install SQLEXPRESS, i downloaded the installer from this link

sqlexpress already installed in two instances (one of them for ACTIX i guess)

but nothing to install..!
