HSDPA E2E throughput troubleshooting: How to proceed?

I have similar problem. Nodeb work ok on ATM, then we make transmission Iub over Ip we have limitation 5Mbitps.

Does 1 numhscoderesource can support 15 codes per cell or overall 15 in Node B ? wats the significance of numhscoderesource ?

Without numhscoderesource you can not use hsdpa. One numhscoderesource can share 15 hs code for three cells. So you may have 5 codes per cell, or 6 codes on two cells, and 3 codes on the remaining cell etc... I hope that you understand this.

regarding numhscoderesource, you need at least 3 by nodeb to get high throughput (15 code per cell if 3 cells)

Hello! If you have this problem just with one RBS it may be due lack on IuB. There is a counter in E\\ that shows Hsdpa Iub Limiting Ratio. If there are a lot of sites with this problem it can be due RNC. Especially if it is RNC3810. Do you have Tems Investigation logs or GPEH traces to chek?

We are facing the same problem, and I want to find the solution even I'm not very RNC Guy, so would you please explain how to check the parameters in DCG_K logfile to make sure that the problem not in nodeB (we cannot reach the 5mbpseven, almost 3.6 Mbps). On the other hand, if you please can share any doc about the concept of throughput configuration in HS 9even if you can recommend some alex lib to read).

Hi! What RNC type do have?
The first thing to check in RNC is
Iu-PS Throughput,
ISL link load,
PDR, DC load,
HW problems and etc.
