    Hi everyone,

    Follow the tuto for Trace on LMT.

    1 - Open LMT > Maintenance

    Step1.jpg

    2 - Trace Managemente > Interface Trace Task > IOS

    Step2.jpg

    3 - Select just Propagation delay.

    step3.jpg

    4 - After a long time of collect, stop trace then save the messages.

    step5.jpg

    5 - Save all messages as .txt. Done !!

    PS: I was wrong, not need save for .tmf and then convert for .txt. You can save in firts time as .txt.

    step6.jpg

    I hope helped.

    Explanation for propagation delay.

    explicacao.jpg

    Cell ID (HEXA) : Just convert to dec.

    0CA5 (HEXA) = 3237 (DEC)

    3237 is my Cell ID.

    Distance

    1 Chip = (3 x 10^8) / (3,84 Mcps) = 78,125 metros / chip

    1 TP = 3 Chips = > 3 x 78,125 = 234,375

    The formula

    Distance (HEX) = 02
    Then convert to dec => 02 (HEX) = 2 (DEC)

    Distance = ( 2(DEC) + 1) * (234,375))
    Distance = 703,125 m.

    My question is that for 2G we only need TA exports and no need of propagation delay, am I right?
