    Default MEGAMON!!!!

    Dear experts!!!

I again asking you to assist with information about logfiles generated by Nokia megamon MGA.
Those files contains all information from RNC processes:
Process 04FB - BTS Resource Management - BRM
    Process 04FD - RRC
    Process 04FE - NBAP
    Process 507 - Handover management
    Process 508 - RNSAP
    Process 509 - RANAP

Each process contains number of messages types. Some of them are 3GPP complied i.e. RRC/RNSAP/NBAP/RANAP and some of them are Nokia private like BRM/part of NBAP/Handover Management.

I'm looking for details about Nokia private messages in BRM/NBAP and Handover messages.
All this stuff almost identical to E******* GPEH.
GPEH has very good description in E******* standard documentation, while Nokia information about content and data formats not so easy to get.

Please, share all possible information about Megamon and flogs format.

    Thank you in advance!!!!!!

    Hi,
I am trying to parse MGA file too
I managed to understand that after the text header every record is starting with 0xC3 0xC3 and afterwards the len of the record.
does anybody knows if there is MML comand that says what is captured in the files?

there is some data compression applied to DMX messages in MGA files. These compression has many rules and starts with 0xBA 0x05 or 0x06 or 0x07....
This is a way to represent many 00 in short binary string.
Can somebody describe the right decompression rules for DMX messages from MGA files?
