    Hi

How do you know SGS2 has an Infineon chipset?
Any document you could share to see that?

    I asked the right people

SGS comes in two flavours depending on sale market: Q in US and Infineon in Europe. I don't know anything about Asia.

Any updates here? I'm also curious how to identify which chipset is in a phone?

Are there any utilities (command-line or otherwise) that can be used? For example, after connecting to an adb shell, I can use the command getprop to get a long list of properties but none of them mention the chipset.

There are some other useful commands that I've found that you can run on the adb shell. They don't tell chipset information but there is a lot of other stuff there. Check these out:

    dumpsys
    dumpstate
