    Hi.

    Follow this steps:

    1. Use a VMware Virtual Machine with Windows XP SP2 x86 installed on it.
I suppose you're using a relatively new laptop which have enough power to run that.
    2. Configure an USB-TO-RS232 adapter as COM1/2 using the adaptor's vendor original drivers.
I use a Belkin adapter. If this is your case use the Prolific drivers. Install them from whithin your host and guest machines.
    3. Install OMT in the VM and connect to the RBS.

    Best regards.

    Than you for your replay
I install XP mode with VMlite then I install OMT in it, it works fine with RBS 2206,2207,2216 and 2216 V2, BUT it dosen't work with the new RBS 6000

I hope there is a solution to make it work in Windows 7

    Hello,

Do you have E*******'s RPM 919 732 cable or did you make the connection cable yourself?
Also there has been reports that certain usb-rs232 adapters and pcmcia cards don't fully comply with the rs232
standard as the pin voltage is not correct. this affects only connections with DUG, not DUL nor DUW.

    regards,
    chammy

I made the connection by my self, yes you are right in XP mode the connection effects only the connection with DUG, BUT in windows 7 it gives me the same error.
what if I get the E*******'s RPM 919 732 cable is it will work with windows7 or only in XP mode?????

    help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
