RBS element Manager
hi got my new windows 7 professional I5 / 64bit I install RBS element manager and it would not work.

Same problem here. Compatibility issues?
Try to use a Windows XP SP2 VMware Virtual Machine on your W7 x64. It works like a charm.

Hi,
Would you help me how to install xp Virtual Machine on W7. Methods of procedure? Will it work also on Vista?
Where would I get this VMware?

Hi.
You need to purchase a copy of WMware 8 at www.vmware.com and install it. You will also need a Windows XP SP2 with it's original key for activation.
Once installed you must create a VM for XP with the default values. Insert your XP onto your CD Reader and start the VM. It will install your XP onto that VM. When the VM is installed and ready you have to install the EM application and configure your COM port as COM1. That's all.
Good luck.
PS. I use my W7 x64 to run the RBS EM using elevation (execute as administrator). If this don't work try the VM method instead.

have u tried install as a administrator bro?
I have got lucky with this.
On setup.exe file, right click and choose Run as a Administrator.
