Default HSDPA WCDMA - Layer 2 with Fixed RLC PDU Size

    Dear Master,

Need help for explanation parameter codeThresholdPdu656 to allow 656-bit.

"If parameter codeThresholdPdu656 is smaller than parameter numHsPdschCodes the 656-bit RLC PDU size will
be used for Category 7-10 and 13-20 UEs, otherwise the 336-bit RLC PDU size is used. For UEs belonging to Category 1-6 and 11-12 the 336-bit RLC
    PDU size is always used."

    Example:
I have Node B with IUB over IP with maxNumHsPdschCodes 15 with feature HsdpaDynamicCodeAllocation. In utrancell, parameter numHsPdschCodes 5.
and codeThresholdPdu656 set 6. Is this could activate 656-bit as we have HsdpaDynamicCodeAllocation with max 15 code or never activate as codeThresholdPdu656 > numHsPdschCodes?

With your settings the RNC would not use the 656bit RLC PDU. It is advised you set codeThresholdPdu656 to 0, so to always ensure you use the 656bit RLC PDU for UEs that support it.

Thanks bro. If I set the value to 0, with your experience is there any impact to performance and lack resources?

No, there are no issues associated with this parameter. E******* themselves recommend it for networks they optimise.
