    If I understand you correctly,
Select Presentation from Menu open the current channel window and look under Mode. It should show dedicated along with TCH confirming you are on the call and obviously the L3. Pardon me if I misunderstood.

For every mute call o r silent patch SQI is not decoded in Tems. This is one indication of mute call.
Other parameter which can be helpful in detecting mute call via Tems is DTX. In case of mute call it shows 88 or 100 as a value

    Hope this helps

    Hi

Mute calls and silent calls can be detected by make calls and putting number in trace at NSS end.In TEMS if DTX show 88 or 100 value it doesnt mean that call is mute.It only shows that u noise level were u resides is below value or it is very low.or in another way u r transmitting SID Frames.

    hello
the Silent Call is a big problem, because ditedting the reason is not realy clair in case few sites are affecting , But in case of a large number of sites the problem is probably on A interface problem , may be there is a mismatching in CICs , or a E1 problem.
    Regards
