Help for RBS 600 omt cable please

Hi All ,
is there any one ho can help me for the omt cable to connect to rbs 6000
i try this

Rj45 DB9 female
1________________ 5
2________________ 3
3________________ 2


but it doesn't work i change cable same problem i explain to you something i use an usb to serial cable(minilink cable) too for
this connection because i haven't DB9 in my laptop only USB so this is it: rj45___ db9fem connected to minilink cable (db9male ___ usb)
so this is my pbme is there any one who can help me please

what OS are you using?

i'm using windows SP2

i mean windows XP service pack2

that should be fine, same cable i am using,USB to Serial Cable,connected to db9Fem-RJ45.
Please check com port settings,it should be the same as the one defined at the OMT to your laptop settings.
check also that the cable you created is connected at end-to-end as per the right settings.
If you are connecting to DUG,it should be connected to LMT port A

Thanks Mr edmar but i tried all what you tell me to do lmt port A yhe same setting in omt and system windows
i tried com1 3 ..... in system and in omt i know that you must have the same setting i test the cable fine i create an other
cable same thing i don't know what to do

does it state any error when you make a connection to the OMT?

no there is no error only time out or the omt search for very long time to connect to rbs
but i think the only thing not done is to change my cable driver

yes please,same situation with my colleague here. updating the usb to serial driver solves the problem.

Thanks a lot mr edmar like i told you the only thing i didn't do is change my cable driver and that was the problem
now it works 100%
