I think it has relation with your OS and this version of PL5 ,same thing happened to me before .
So I recommend to install PL5 version 2009 and after that you can update and here is the steps:


1.install PL5 2009(complete version)
2. Overwrite p5g_supl.bin file in folder C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5\geo_data.
3. Run pl50.exe.
4. Initialize program.
5. You select Telephone in method ot initialize the program
6. Enter any Authorization code.


update:
1. Install and initialize original version.
pathloss 5 complete.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download
2. Uninitialize original version.
3. Re-Initialize with new seial number and activation code.
Serial number: BL50-3G3YE5H-345GHY6-5634
Activatation Code: ERBVV-34721-605F
4. Copy p5g_supl.bin in C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5\geo_data to another to use later.
5. Uninstall original PL50
6. Install PL50 version April 20, 2011.
7. Copy above p5g_supl.bin and overwrite to C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5\geo_data.
8. Copy file mitab.dll from mitab.dll and overwrite to C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5.

Hi,
I´m trying of to update the Pathloss 2009 to 2012 but when you said in the step 8 "8. Copy file mitab.dll from mitab.dll and overwrite" where is this file because the file for to update the pathloss is a .exe file where I find it in other site bucase you said that the mitab.dll is inside the finetopix.com web, but I dont have the minimus qoute to adcess it, could you pls get me other site for to dowload the mitab.dll for pathlos 5 abril 2012!!!!!

Here is mitab.dll.
About P5g_supl as described in update steps (point 4) you have to cope those of PL5 complete version for reuse after PL5 April installation.
This version you will find it here in Transmission planning specially in Thang271’s thread.
