Is anyone have a tool to calculate the number of Channel Element for each service 3G for one cell. I waste many time to calculate it. Thanks

There is no way to calculate CE, channel element is software capacity ,lets say it can be defined to be as dedicated/shared resource for the traffic. Resource means it is consumable and has a limit. Different manufactures have diff CE capacity, base band processing board does it, viz, BPC card in case of ZTE 8800 SDR which has 192CE capacity. Huawei may have more capacity for the same price/type of node-B/SDR, same applies to Nokia/Eric...CE is not standardised numbering capacity.

It is like manufacturer defined resource, CE can be increased/decreased depending upon license bought by the operator. Hope i am right.
