    is there any way to know the location of the MS from Huawei System ?

    For 2G systems - NO
    But the triangulation method can be implemented for 3G systems but I am not sure if Huawei supports it.

    On Core Side, we can check which Cell is the subscriber currently attached.

    what happens if a handover takes place (intra RNC). Is the location updated at the core?

    is there a relation between SAI and cellID?

    we can do the call resource trace to find the serving cell and the distance of the customer..(TA value) TA- 0 means ms located withiin 550 m from the site. command DSP Callres and give your MSISDN (A party and do the trace in m2000 ) you will get the results.. if you really want the help message me...

    You can notdo the same for3G, it handlesotherparametersfor this caseneed to removetracesof Propagation Delay in the RNC and has tomake othercalculations.... en the GSM is easy ... in 3G .. its complicated ...
