    It's easy
    from "File" in tool bar "Import"
    select the destination for the Map

    1. Download Google earth map with googlemap downloader ( already many posted in this forum and internet also )
    2. Combine map , same with area you like in gif file ( another picture file )
    3. Convert gif file or another picture file to tab file
    4. import Tab file to atoll project like step hilal say

    small corrections for koepret's post:
    1.) OK
    2.) OK
    3.) Do "Georeferencing" of your GIF (or JPG, TIFF, other raster picture) file with special programs which results in additional file with TAB extension. "Georeferencing" is done by common GIS programs like globalmapper, mapinfo, etc.. use Google for finding guidleines..
    4.) Import your TAB file TOGETHER with associated GIF file (or JPG, TIFF, other raster picture) to atoll....

    the rest you already know...
