    Default KPI monitoring

    I want to complare TCH drop (KPI) of continously Five days of a Town. I have made a excel file using vlookup.Now i want to watch changes using colous by giving Green colour if TCH drop is less than Day 1TCH Drop and REd colour if TCH drop is more than Day 1 TCH Value.

    conditional formatting will do the trick here.


    For example. You have values in Cell A1, A2, A3 and so on. No click on cell A2 and from menu select conditional formatting. Select "new rule" and then select "Format only cells that contain" and then from the drop down menu select "less than" than click the cell selector button and click on A1. Here the selection will show $A$1, make sure you delete the $ before A so that it becomes A$1. Click OK and then select cell A2 and copy past it to the whole range and then select formatting only.

    Dear Maahsan,with your steps,the problem is all the cell values have compared with cell
    A1.But I want that B1,C1,D1 ie values in first row compared with respect to A1
    B2,C2,D2 (iind row ) with respect to A2
    B3,C3,D3 ( Third Row) with respect to A3

    this is easy...
    refer to attached file. i have created for you..
    to add new row with same formatting, drag and select Fill Formatting Only.
