    Default Radio Link Bitrate for DL EGPRS

    hi Data Expert,

    i am using the below formula for calculating Radio Link Bitrate for DL EGPRS

    Sum INTXXBRGPRSTBF) / (MC19DLSCHED * 0.02s).
    or

    MC19DLACK/MC19DLSCHED*20ms

    but i am geting value more than 64kbps (such 98kbps, 112 kbps)

    my quation!

    it is logic to have Radio Link Bitrate for DL EGPRS more than 64kbps and why?

    if not...what is the correct formula

    I think it is logical because of the multislot utilisation; sometimes more than 1 timeslot is used to serve the subscriber. So for the instances where the radio link bitrate is around 98kbps or 112 kbps the number of simultaneous timeslots used for EGPRS is more than 1. You can use the counters attached to check these. If you find this information useful let me know.

    MUTILBASIC Accumulation of the percentage of number of timeslots actually reserved versus maximum number of timeslots possible for the MS to reserve, calculated for every DL Basic mode TBFs scanned. One scan of all downlink TBFs in the cell carried out every 10 seconds. Counter for GPRS mode TBFs MUTILGPRS. Counter for EGPRS mode TBFs MUTILEGPRSWith Flexible Abis the counter value of MUTILEGPRS will be slightly lower.     I faced same problem when i was worked in 2G.

    But alternatively you can use DLBGEGTHR, DLTHP1EGTHR, DLTHP2EGTHR, ..... etc ...

    there is also predefined counter within BO Avg Radio link Bitrate EGPRS DL
