GPRS-EDGE optimization problem

Hello Friends,

There is a problem as below for GPRS and EDGE network for an operator having multi vendors in n/w


some time the Operator experience some update problems on GPRS. After some time the GRPS transmission gets disconnected for unknown reasons. Not only when transferring from one cell to another but also within the same cell.
This happens not only on the GPRS but also on the EDGE transmission.

The subscribers experience this problem and so far no cause has been identified.
Taken also into account that the data throughput for GPRS and EDGE is very low on the NSN radio network, the network does not exceeds 40 kbp/sec transmission speeds.
The E******* radio network working on the same core network get transmission speeds of above 172 kbp/sec.

Some Operator feedback:
- SiteA is working fine, but SiteB has this problem although the radio access configuration is the same on both sites
- Core investigation has been completed and no issues has been found.


Can any one suggest solution on this problem.
