    Default RX quality very poor

    hai friends,

Some sectors are showing very low RX quality app 30 % good samples only for all the TRx. these sectors are also showing dip in busy hour erlangs from 27 er to 12 er. but all other KPI s including TCH drop, hand over failure etc are with in bench mark. I have asked to check the hardware. what could be other issues?

    How about the frequency ?
T_DR, HO, etc should be degraded from very bad RxQuality.

Very Interestingly none of the other KPI have degraded. This is happening to more than 7 sectors. I have checked the BCCH frequency .But no clash is found.

When did the quality has been degraded?
    Which vendor we looking for?
Can you try to deactivate frequency hopping and monitor quality for each TRX? It will show which TRX is the bad-quality.

do you have KPI called IOI i.e., interference on idle mode? if so, how does this IOI behaves during that time of rx_qual drop?

two issues i can predict from this:
    1. Hardware: do you do radio calibration? or just try to replace radio
    2. use Mapinfo to recheck frequency issues
