Huawei F-PDCH

My company have HSPA huawei architecture I read some about the F-DPCH to optimize the DL-DPCH resources but when I monitored the ovsf tree doesn't view F-DPCH active.

How can active this feature in the network?

Try to activate SRB over HSPA

Hello tester I active SRB over HSPA withouth success, all HSDPA users consume 1 SF-256 doesn't use FPDCH .

The use of this channel depend of terminal ?

The network is UMTS release 6 HSDPA/HSUPA, I need to active release 7 to use this type of channel?

1. LQW1HSDPA14=1 should be in your RNC license
2. NodeBs should be configured with boards which support SRB (for example BTS3900 should have WBBPb or WBBPd board)
3. And of course phones should support F-DPCH

Release 6 is enough.
