Mapinfo bining

hi all,

could anyone share their knowledge regarding binning methods in Mapinfo?
it's like "distance" binning that we could do in Actix or TEMS Route Analysis..can we do that also in Mapinfo?

Hi,

You can't do in in Mapinfo directly. you have to do the binning of necessary parameters (e.g. Rx Lev, Rx qual if it's GSM) in excel and have to export and have to create thematic map in MI. Other than that RA or Actix is best for binning.

Yes you could do but all the files should be in UTM format and after all to use Vertical mapper for the aggregation.
