do you use both 900 and 1800 bands, in single bcch!? if so, try to check if there are swapped feeders. 1800 feeders could be swapped

we normally deploy 2/2/2 (900), 4/4/4 (1800)

in our 2G network we have been suffering from critical frequency interference in areas which are highly congested. we have been trying to optimise the site, by reducing sites...

you can try to check which cell was chosen to be handed over a call, & does that cell experience congestion in that period? (you can see this cell during handover command)

1.if its for specific sector/cell check VSWR value or any hardware faulty
2.transmission problems (unstable link) btn BSC & BTS, high BER
3. what are values for FER & C/I?

2. if (1) is no, before migration did any other BSC shared the same LAC?

to me this is a political issue! if it was a cost cutting issue i think we will all go for huawei. Similar, if its a quality issue we would go for erickson,etc.
