there is an Atoll plugin that does automatic code planning (ACP) and it generates automatically your codes for the cells.
you will have to provide some details regarding the frequency bands for each technology, the area you want to cover and the services you want to provide at cell edge for UMTS and LTE.
nobody can...
Can someone share?
check this :

there you go. I hope it helps
NOTE: You will have to rename the file :
LTE for UMTS – OFDMA and SC-FDMA Based Radio Access 2009_01.zip in
LTE for UMTS – OFDMA and SC-FDMA Based Radio Access ...
anyone? who has something like this?
Does anyone have an LTE excel link budget tool from Huawei or E*******?
TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE.

It's Kapsch. I know the design levels for radio planning but I want to find out how the lkb was performed and what are the margins for this. So if you have the excel lkb, I would appreciate it:)
Does someone here have the GSM-R Linkbudget excel for Nortel GSM-R?

qwerty for my docs
May I open this new thread for those who want to share maps from projects. I think it can be very usefull.
If not , admin can delete it.
the nodeB capacity is defined by the software licenses that the operator has bought from the equipment provider.
if you want to compute the maximum NodeB capacity based on the physical limitations...
can it be "cleaned"?
guys, some confirmations ?
does it work on a regular symbian phone or not?
you gotta be joking. what about E///?
guys,
"qwerty" is the password!
is it working?
I had a PM that it doesn't work.
"qwerty"
have a nice day!
more vendors have wb-amr, not just siemens. the transcoder has to have special boards or software to decode the wb-amr coded voice.
If you have 10 mhz and use only 5 in your network, of course you can use the other 5 for femto.
First : signal coverage can't be performed on femtos (at a macro level) because you don't know WHERE...
be careful because atoll only knows geo data in UTM zones. make sure the other tool has the same geographic references.
I guess nowadays most vendors prefer huawei (or zte) for $ reasons, but every provider has it's good parts and bad parts. The chinese equipment seems to work too,and if it doesn't an army of chinese...
you won't need frequency planning for femto. they will mostly be deployed indoors and will not affect (too much) the 3g outdoor network.
Hi all,
here's the link to 250 MB of Huawei 3g documentation. ask for password

there are 2 solutions. one with the UMTS equipment with LTE sw and one with MC-TRX.
