It is an .RMP file not .RMX

You have to enable that mode for it to communicate with the scout software.

You need radio manager to do that

Do you know which version of cps you need for the MTP700, as I don't know and it will help me locate it if I know what im looking for as have too much software

Yes the tool works with windows xp, and it will show the first 2 characters of the pass, but like I say its not a registered version...

You need codeplug password recovery tool. Made by a guy called ivo baradic. It has been posted many times before on here , I have it but no code to register it. And it does not work on windows 7 or...

by the way that version does not have Factory (depot) mode so that wont be available, but other passwords work fine.
