currenly i have enabled the parameters in source cell only..but it is not giving the results...One cell is taking 90 er and other 15 er....seems the default values will not work...Any idea of how to...

Is there any way of offloading a highly loaded sector with a lower loaded one using the traffic handover? Can I get the parameter settings required ? Should i change any parameter at the destination...

In my case, the issue was resolved after changing the heliax cables of the sector connecting antenna with the BTS.

What could be the reasons for high inter handover issues between two sectors? Only 10 % of inter attempts getting converted to success between two near sectors. I have checked for frequency issues...

Thank you for the response. The value of external interference is highly negligible. I will try disabling the hopping and giving seperate frequncies for each TRX. And will update. thank you.:)

Can anyone tell how interference is calculated in a GSM network? We are using NSN systems..

We are using siemens network. Is there any way to know the number of cell reselection attempts from a sector?

Is this for a single site or for the whole area? If this is for a sinle sector, please check the SDCCH block %, drop% for the sector. If it is high, then there may be high setup time required.

actually we are using Siemens Network. and this report is not available.

The vendor is NSN..and using siemens BTS

Very Interestingly none of the other KPI have degraded.This is happening to more than 7 sectors. I have checked the BCCH frequency .But no clash is found.

version of MIPT is MIPT v1D. Problem may not be with the database as other members are using the same tool with same database..
