High TCH blocking without TCH congestion

Hi,

I have some cells suffering from high BCR (block call rate) but no TCH congestion (there are enough available resources) and indeed TCH congestion is equal to zero.

What can I check to find the root of this high BCR?

Yes I heve SD and TCH resources enough. But I have a lot of TCH BLOCKS, but any of them is due to congestion (due to busy TCH).

There is any counter in Huawei that tell us the cause of a TCH block (apart from congestion or busy TCH):

in this case, most of your ressources are used for GPRS/EGPRS, check your network PS/CS allocation priority, on demand PDCH percentage, and PS preemption.

What about the 2G sites with TCH availability 100% ,Low utilization but are having high TCH Congestion

AMR active in your network if yes related parameter for HR AMR also working in Huawei there is parameter call AMR TCH prior Allowed? can you share the formula for both .
