I hope the users can find very good courses and certifications in this thread and can shared they experiences and knowledge in what is the best courses and certifications in this area.
Users please shared all information about the courses and certifications, I mean topics of the course, content of the course, date of the course, vendor who offer this course, certification of this course, country and city, price, etc.
Telecoms Academy is one provider of telecom certificates (nice ploy). I remember doing a WIMAX Certification program with them two years ago. They did not bother to even inform me about the whereabouts of my certificate. I did not call them either to claim my certificate, because the program was very mediocre, and the certificate in itself has little use for me.

WCET is a professional certification (Welcome to IEEE WCET - IEEE Wireless Communication Engineering Technologies Certification) but telling the truth I do not know what is the real value of it on the job market...
Re: Certifications and Courses in Wireless Communications
Employers care too little abour certificates. They value the experience. Does any org provide On-the Job training or inernship kind things?

They value the knowledge rather than the experience. Sometime experience doesn't reflect the knowledge.
Having a certificate is good, but to cope with the material is rather difficult.
I also went to an NSN training. It was great, but the best thing was when it was also followed with workshop.
I dislike those trainings without workshops.

Here my friend. Since i found this forum i can guarantee you that here you will find more info and profesional opnions for almost all type of equipments and telecom areas than every course or certificate you may find out and this will be more valuable for your as engineer and of course when you apply for a job...
Just find the library section or ask in different other sections, and you will understand what i mean... :)
All the best.
