Hi,
Let me guess? UW-band, sticker on top that says "radlink"?
I'm facing the same issue. Did you ever resolve this?
Best regards,
Martin
The PIN can be overwritten using software tools.
The PUK (reset PIN) can only be programmed if you know the old one.
If you don't know the old one, the radio must be sent to Sepura so that they can re-flash the SSP (Secondary Secure Processor).
This was really odd. It didn't ask for PIN on startup, but then RM toolbox asked for PUK.
I tried to create a similar setup on a SRG3500W for testing, but it asks for pin (0000) or can even be set to blank - at startup.
How the do I remove the pin-question at startup?
I got the PUK from the original seller of the radio. Thankfully.
For any attempts to brute-force it;
auto-hotkey with ~600ms/try is the fastest that will work on my setup (Win7 32bit virtual machine with ftdi usb-rs232 at 115kbps).
That means about with 1try/sec about three years. Non-stop. So good luck with that!
The funny thing is, it's not asking for any pin on the AT-interface or on startup. So AT+CPIN? replies ready. Honestly? Sepura has done a good job on these :-)
