Re: Nemo Outdoor 7.8.0.8 with MED
Thanks, both of them works. If anyone is interested, the 7.8.2.18 which seems to be the latest working with the MED, is from 2016.09.19. The original 7.8.0.8 is from 2016. early April.
If anyone has newer installer than 7.8.2.18 from the 7.8.x.x or the 7.9.x.x series, please post it, so we can take a look.
This is whats new in 7.8.2 since the original 7.8.0.8 release for Qualcomm:
Version 7.8.2 (7.9.2016)
- Added support for 4x4 MIMO measurements. (MIMOMEAS, CI)
- Added support for EVS codec with Qualcomm IMS stack based devices. (AMRS, FER)
- Improved Q.850 cause code and dropped IMS call handling. (CAF, CAD)
- Fixed problem with SFTP automatic window scaling
- Updated Instagram to comply with the new API
- Fixed problems with IPerf manual testing
- Fixed problem with PEVQ-S timeout while video was still playing
- Fixed a problem with phone number being invalid when INVITE SIP message was missing. (CAA)
Version 7.8.1 (28.6.2016)
- Added support for LTE RACH contention resolution msg4 decoding failures parameter. (RACHI)
- Added support for LTE UE category 10 devices.
- Fixed a problem that caused data throughput not to be logged for less than one second long data transfers. (DRATE)
- Fixed a problem that caused with some devices UMTS cell measurement results to disappear for a while after cell change. (CELLMEAS)
- Fixed a problem that sometimes caused RRD measurement event to be logged immediately after Radio Resource Allocation Attempt. (RRD)
- Fixed a problem where VoWiFi and ViWiFi calls were sometimes incorrectly logged with dropped out of service status. (CAD)
- Fixed a problem where E2E VoLTE calls were sometimes incorrectly logged as normal disconnects instead of early release. (CAD)
- Fixed a problem where delayed SIP messages for previous VoLTE call caused current call to get disconnected. (CAD, CAF)
- Fixed a problem where delayed SIP messages for previous VoLTE call caused erroneous call attempt to be logged. (CAA)
- Improved detection of dropped IMS calls during call setup with NMR. (CAD)
- Fixed a problem where LTE requested throughput was fluctuating in stabile environment. (CQI)
- Fixed a problem where CDMA channel and band number were incorrect.
- Fixed a problem where early release call disconnect status was reported incorrectly with received CDMA call. (CAD)
Re: Nemo Outdoor 7.8.0.8 with MED
More updates: I found version 7.9.0.10, and did the install exactly same as the original tutorial said, and it works properly. Here is the DL link:
http://www.fileyogi.com/?software=nemo-outdoor-7-9-0-10
What I noticed is although at the end of applying the MED (which means the 7.8.0.8 exe and some DLLs are overwritten), most of the DLLs (including the parsers) are applied from the new version. It is however still unclear that the new features are actually usable, as we dont know which part of these features relies on the EXE, and which features are coming from the DLLs.
None the less, 7.9.0.10 seems to be crackable the same way 7.8.0.8 did.
MOd: apparently the change in MapX version in 7.9 prevents the old 7.8.0.8 way, as the map load will fail. Will try to backport some DLLs, lets see if this is fixable.
Re: Nemo Outdoor 7.8.0.8 with MED

I know the latest is 8.5.0.5, but there is no available medicine to any 8.x version Nemo as to my knowledge.
In terms of DLLs, you referring to version 7.9.0.10? So the same DLLs for the Mapx issue we can use the old Mapx DLLs to make tit compatible?
I am having an issue with a Qualcomm X12 based modem with version 7.8.2 which not reports many things including SINR, RS SINR, PDSCH error rate etc. This is why I am looking for a slightly newer version to see if this might be a parsing error in Nemo, so a newer parser DLL might fix the issue. No luck so far...
