2nd) what is the threshold value for LTE??

if you have any materials about this give me a link please.

Thanks

In LTE, the term used to determine is SINR.

SINR is the required signal level at the receiver compared to noise and interference.

CINR is for carrier to noise ratio.

The range is 0 ~ 28.

Very good SINR: >25

GOOD SINR: 15~ 25

Avg. SINR : 5 ~ 15

Poor SINR: < 5

There is a text book named "LTE for UMTS –
OFDMA and SC-FDMA Based
Radio Access".

Search in the forum and read it.

@edinburgh
Thanks a lot.
is these values of SINR are the same for CINR? because the predictions in Atoll are based on CINR.
many thanks
