which tool to check cell 0x26 in .reg

Let's say we have registry....(.reg)

which tool is the best to check cell 0x26 to change vendor ID...

Can someone explain me to point out cell 0x26 in .reg ...???

if you have a reg and know where VID is located in that reg, so you dont need a tool to change it, just edit the regfile and change it manualy

Vendor ID is located at cell 0x26

how can I check it if I am not owner of reg file.

address 0x26 --> This is a hexadeciaml notation, which mean 38 in decimal, which means you have to count 36 address starting from 0 to find the starting of VID, usually it will be located in the 5th row in the reg and will be at the 5th position from left

If you dont have the reg then you cant check

You can use any simple editor like notepad to edit it, but i suggest tool named "Notepad++" , we colorful & good tool for editing, & here is its portable version:
