hello,

i would like to start a new thread where users can share useful information about how to use AIRCOM/NETACT. I know most of the how to is in the Aircom help but there are some fine tunings that usually speed up the planning process.

Mainly things like how to setup ILSA, how to define cells that use common BCCH feature, hopping parameters , etc.

cheers

Hello,

You may make the planning process faster by selecting enoug area and cells according your computer capability. Specially when you need a prediction before than frequency plan you need to be carefull, if not your process could take even some days. About common BCCH we were creating 2 different cells for BCCH layer so we could make easy frequency plan for them and we could see interference between co-cell BCCH frequencies. About naming of cell we were using different suffix only. If somebody has special question let me know i will try to answer.

Best Regards,
