put desired parameters values in the algo and see the effect of changing levels w.r.t quality.

Dear

1-In PC 3 Decision will be based on Rx level and RX Qual which means dpenedent on both but for PC2 which both Rx level and Rx Qual are independent .

2- increase will be relative to Maxmimum so if you see the Calculation if step K=0 means no power control because it transmit on full power so understand from this and i I did test test PC3 i saw in my case Maximim power tranmsit reduced.

Pls discuss about Huawei Power Control 3:
1. Why exponential filtering is better than avg filtering?
2. Calculation of the power control step: the step must be less than 0, the transmit power control is adjusted. Therefore, power is always decreased?

Huawei Hedex contains basic info and parameters for Power Control III,

Main feature are Exponential Filtering,
consideration of RxQual interms of C/I rather than 0 to 7 values
Frequency Hopping gain included for RxQual Calcualtions
separate thresholds of Rxqual for different codecs
Calcualtion of power decrease and increase for both levels and Quality combinedly instead of separately as was in Power Control II
